Ryan Bingham is one talented individual

The concert included songs with his band and solo performance. The concert included tunes of solidarity meaning Bingham has obviously traveled this great land to also learn of its destitute nature. The songs rang true through the crowd as they sang along in unison and cheered mightily at the end of each one. Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses played until 12:30. Rarely do I attend concerts anymore where the main act plays for 2 hours. Usually a show is less than and call it a night. It was well worth the four hour drive it takes me to get to Denver.

Rocking Good Time

My husband and I saw Ryan perform briefly on a Cayamo cruise a few years ago and always regretted not seeing more of him. He did not disappoint Monday night in Columbus. He is an amazing performer, and the band is tight. We were so glad he came to Columbus! HoneyHoney was the opener and we were impressed. Suzanne has a strong voice. My husband bought one of their cd's in the lobby and told me they would be signing in a few minutes. I went out and met both Suzanne and Ben; they were so nice and friendly and signed my cd. I look forward to seeing them again.

Ryan was awesome - but the opening band was horrible!

Ryan Bingham was the best! We could have stayed all night watching him in the acoustic solo format. He has a great stage presences and his songs are masteries of poetry, song-writing and guitar perfection. The opening band "The Texas Gentlemen" were horrible. Whoever chose them to saddle up with RB shouldn't be in the music business. The band doesn't seem to have any identity of it's own and seems like they're trying too hard to sound like Little Feat, Grateful Dead, or Meatloaf. The songs have too many dysfunctional key breaks and are disjointed in their flow. Their music was not pleasing and left many of us hoping they would just stop playing. I paid ALOT of money for the tickets and do not feel like I received a good value - Ryan was worth it but the value I received from The Texas Gentlemen made it a bad purchase. If the promoters would have mentioned who was up first I may have elected not to go at all, then again, maybe that's why they didn't. Loved Ryan, not so much on TTG.
